Test rychlosti internetu
We measure download, upload and response against the nearest server on the independent M-Lab network. No registration, no ads. The result stays in your browser; we save it only if you decide to share a link to it.

Find out if there is a faster offer at your address
Measured speed is what your current internet provider actually delivers now. Enter the address and see all offers recorded by the Czech Telecommunication Office (ČTÚ) at that location, including local providers not shown by comparison tools.

The test runs on M-Lab (Measurement Lab), an open independent measurement platform operated by a consortium of research and non-profit organisations, not by any internet provider or comparison service. We use the NDT7 protocol: the browser connects via WebSocket to the nearest available M-Lab server and separately measures how fast it can download data from it and how fast it can upload data to it.
The result describes the connection between your browser and a specific M-Lab server at that moment - it is affected by Wi-Fi signal, VPN, and simultaneous downloads on another device in the same network. For the most accurate result, we recommend measuring via cable on a device that is not downloading or uploading anything else.
What the measured figures mean in practice is discussed in the article Internet speed: what the numbers mean. If the test showed low results, read Slow internet: what to do.
Privacy
M-Lab publishes anonymised data from each measurement (without personal data) as open data for research into the state of the internet - details in their privacy policy. We do not store the test result itself until you share it using the "Share result" button - then we only save the measured numbers, date and rough identification of the provider/region with us, never your IP address or browser identity. The "Your previous measurements" history below remains only in your browser (localStorage) and is not sent anywhere.
